One well-known establishment of the Barossa is Jacobs Creek. At their Visitors Centre in Rowland Flat, step off the groovy bus onto grassy lawns edged with towering eucalyptus trees. Here you’ll be warmly welcomed and taken into a private room for a guided talk on the history of Jacobs Creek. Next, we'll head into a gorgeous open planned visitors space with board glass doors opening onto the vineyards.
Taste world-famous shiraz, merlot, rosé, and understand why this vineyard has found its way into the cellars of restaurants and onto the shelves of wine dealers throughout the world. With exports into over 60 countries, it’s no wonder why Jacobs Creek is a household name to many Aussies!
Whilst the big-names of the Baross provide a fabulous element of grandeur to the region, it's also important that a day trip to the Barossa includes any one of the boutique and/or family-owned vineyards dotted throughout the region.
